Head On Car Versus Dump Truck Crash Causes Severe injuries

Jefferson County Sheriff's Office responded to an accident between a car and a dump truck at 1:54 PM on Tuesday, May 24 which resulted in injuries to both drivers.
The crash occurred on County Highway Y just south of Will Road in Jefferson.
A silver 2005 Chevrolet was driving north on County Highway Y when it drifted into the south bound lane hitting a dump truck head on.
The 48-year-old male driver of the dump truck was taken to Fort Atkinson hospital with non-life threatening injuries. The 27-year-old female driver of the Chevrolet was taken by Flight for Life to Aurora Summit Hospital with severe injuries.
The crash is under investigation.
