Hartford Man Driving a UPS Truck Fatally Crashes in Illinois

A Hartford man died in an accident near Hinsdale, Illinois on Tuesday around 2:31 AM, according to Illinois State Police.
A UPS Truck Tractor hauling a double bottom trailer was traveling on I-294 southbound at milepost 26.5 (Hinsdale, IL), when for unknown reasons, lost control, ran off the roadway to the left, and struck the concrete median wall on the left side.
The impact caused one of the two trailers to overturn and breach onto the northbound side of I-294 at milepost 26.5.
The driver (Glen D. Dantuma 61) was transported to LaGrange Memorial Hospital with serious injuries, where he pronounced deceased. At this time, there is no other information available and the crash remains under investigation.
