MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- It's that time of year again. The Harlem Globetrotters are promoting their annual New Year's Eve performance in Milwaukee.
On Tuesday, Dec. 10, Trotter star Briana Green gave the kids at Hawthorne Elementary School in Milwaukee a little demonstration of her skills and she delivered some life lessons about being kind to others.
The kids were impressed.
"Proud that a very important person from the Globetrotters came to our school," said fifth grader Zakyah Boone.
"The point of it is one, to interact and get engagement, get 'em out of the classroom for a little bit. But just encourage t hem to be kind, encourage them to go talk to somebody they have an issue, have empathy and you know, ask questions," said Briana "Hoops" Green, Harlem Globetrotters.
