OCONOMOWOC, Wis. (CBS 58) -- Thanks to a family's generous donation and a community-wide campaign, a scenic waterfront property in Oconomowoc will be preserved as a green space for generations to come.
The achievement the result of an extraordinary fundraising campaign motivated by enthusiasm, loss, and a ticking clock.
On CBS 58 Sunday Morning, Rose Schmidt visited the city's isthmus district to learn how one small group of neighbors was able to raise more than a million dollars to build a park.
