Greenfield Police Hold Contest to Name New K-9

The Greenfield Police department is getting a new K-9 unit and is asking the public to name it. A new canine handler will be traveling to North Carolina in October to train with the new police dog.

The person who comes up with the best name will receive a prize package including Greenfield Police Department Canine Gear, Challenge Coin, Customized Plush Canine, and a meet and greet with the new K-9 unit.

The following names have already been taken by current and previous dogs: Della, Andor, Reggie, Lazer, Raider, Badger, DJ, Karma.
