Gov. Evers gets his own beer; 'Made with science and a steady hand pale ale'

MINOCQUA, Wis. (CBS 58) -- "Made with Science and a Steady Hand," Wisconsin Governor Tony Evers now has his very own beer.

Minocqua Brewing Company announced June 1, a new pale ale in honor of Evers.

"This Pale Ale is for our Governor, who, like the rest of us, has had a tough year," the brewing company said on Facebook in part.

The can features Evers wearing a mask -- in front of the State Capitol -- with his hand on a steering wheel of the Badger Bounce Back Plan.

Evers Ale will be available the week of June 14.

This isn't the first brew the company has made for politicians. Minocqua Brewing Company has come out with beers to pay tribute to President Joe Biden, Vice President Kamala Harris, and Senator Bernie Sanders.
