MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- On this Valentine's Day, one Milwaukee business that lots of people love is celebrating an anniversary.
Wednesday, Feb. 14, marks 78 years since Glorioso's Italian market opened on the city's lower east side.
The business began when three brothers, Joe, Eddie and Teddy, opened the store in 1946.
Today, Teddy is the only living brother.
At 94 years old, he still comes in every Wednesday and Sunday to greet customers.
As for the store's secret to success, Teddy says it's treating everyone well, from customers to employees.
"When you come in here, how do we greet you? If anything, we can greet you with open arms, and that is why I've had people come back here after four or five years just to say hello and say how wonderful it was working for us," Teddy Glorioso said.
These days, Teddy's son, Michael, oversees day-to-day operations at the store.
It still features a big collection of imported meats, cheeses, olives and more.
