How did Ryan Braun, a 6-time all-star outfielder, learn to play 1st base for the Brewers this season?
Glad You Asked!
We asked Milwaukee Baseball Academy's David Casey and Sam Heller, Jr. to help us understand what Braun was learning during spring training in Arizona.
Casey says, it's easy to be a servicable first baseman but it's hard to be a great first baseman. Being great means saving your fellow infielders from throwing errors.
Watch the video for the drill Casey says Braun was probably doing over and over again.
