MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- In Milwaukee, BBC Lighting is hosting a Giving Tree to help rescue pets in need.
Jack's Playground is a local rescue group that has been helping animals find their new homes for over a year.
Ahead of the holidays, they're asking the community for either monetary or supply donations.
This is the first year the group has done a Giving Tree, and one board member has high hopes it will be a success.
"We are hoping that people will come into BBC Lighting, grab a card, figure out what we need for our critters, and then bring those things back on Dec. 20 when we are here," said Diane Newbury, board member of Jack's Playground.
