WEST ALLIS, Wis. (CBS 58) -- A tradition of football and feeding the hungry on display in West Allis Thursday morning.
Friends and families got together at West Allis Central to play a little football. It's the 19th year for the "Turkey Bowl," a game to play before settling in on the couch to watch the pros.
"You look around here, we got 'em from about 2-3 years old all the way to...I'm probably one of the oldest guys out here at 65, so it's about family enjoying the day together before we go home and our separate ways to spend the rest of the day with our families," says Turkey Bowl participant Scott Sigrist.
Everyone who participated brings food to donate. The family will drop those donations off at Hunger Task Force on Friday.
