MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- The Marcus Center is getting ready for another music festival in downtown Milwaukee.
The Fresh Coast Jazz Festival will take place from August 30-Sept 1.
The best jazz musicians across the country will perform during the three-day event. Leaders stopped by the center Monday morning to raise awareness about it and generate some buzz.
"We've been able to find this great jazz talent that came out of Milwaukee," said festival founder Carl Brown. "We're bringing them back to form jam bands both on Friday night and Saturday night, and we're calling it the Hometown All-Stars."
Along with the music, there will also be a wine-tasting event meant as a tribute to Milwaukee's own Al Jarreau.
