FRANKLIN, Wis. (CBS 58) -- The Franklin Police Department is warning about a group of robbers working in suburban parking lots, waiting to pounce on unsuspecting or distracted shoppers.
In a video posted to the department’s Facebook page, a woman loading groceries into her trunk didn’t even know what was happening.
The video shows the thief popping out of a waiting car and taking items from the woman’s car after a passenger door was left open.
Police say similar incidents have been reported in Oak Creek.
