FOUND SAFE: 3-Year-Old Found Safe in Jefferson County After Amber Alert

UPDATE: The missing child, car and suspect were all found in Lake Mills by the Jefferson County Sheriff's Office, according to Milwaukee Police.

The Jefferson County Sheriff's Office was acting on citizen information.

The child was found safe.

The suspect, a 32 year old man was arrested by Jefferson County Sheriff's Deputies at the same location and also recovered the Volvo SUV.

Aubri was with investigators on Sunday night.

Police said the child did not know the suspect. 

The Amber Alert ended. 

Milwaukee Police thanked the public and all those who assisted with locating Aubri Degeffered.

An amber alert was issued by Milwaukee Police to help find a critical missing child. Aubri Degeffered, 3-years-old, was inside a vehicle that was stolen in the 4900 block of West Chambers Street around 6:50 PM on November 15. 

A suspect approached the vehicle that Aubri was in and forced the driver out and fled in the car with the child. 

Police said the same suspect who stole the car also attempted a strong armed robbery in the town of Brookfield at 7:35 PM on Bluemound Road. The suspect arrived at and left the scene in the red Volvo SUV taken from Milwaukee in the 4900 block of West Chambers Street. 

The suspect was described as black male age 28-29, with a medium build, 5'8" in height, wearing a black hooded sweatshirt with white lettering, black jeans and black gloves. The vehicle that was stolen is a red, 4-door, 2014 Volvo XC60.
