MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- The former janitor of a Milwaukee school whose gun went off and grazed a student has been sentenced to the four days he's already spent in jail.
Heriberto Martin, 60, pleaded guilty to the charges.
The bullet passed through two walls at St. Josaphat School and another student's backpack before it hit a 4th grade student.
It happened on April 5th but wasn't reported to police until nearly two weeks later.
A teacher and administrator who tried to cover it up were fired and charged with misdemeanor counts of failing to report child abuse.
