Fond Du Lac Residents Deal With Icy, Messy Conditions

On the streets of Fond Du Lac Tuesday, ice made walking a treacherous challenge. 

Residents like Rick Clark were out shoveling away the ice for hours, just trying to keep up with the wintry mix making a mess.

"This is probably one of the worst days I've seen," said Clark. "We've had a lot of snow, a lot of rain. This stuff is freezing pretty quick with the rain coming down."

Clark said it's days like this that make it a true Wisconsin winter -- and it doesn't bother him.

"You get days like this," he said. "You make it work."
