Flight for Life Called for Skiing Incident at Sunburst

On Tuesday, January 12 at approximately 6:21 PM the Washington County Sheriff’s Office was notified of a skiing accident with injury at Sunburst Ski Area.
Life Star ambulance was on scene rendering medical attention to the patient and requested assistance in setting up a landing zone for Flight for Life.
Kewaskum Fire Department and the Washington County Sheriff’s office assisted in setting up the landing zone in the north parking lot of the ski area.
A 13-year-old female from a local middle school ski club was transported via Flight for Life to Children’s Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
