MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Fiserv Forum will play host to a college hockey tournament this winter.
On Tuesday, March 3 it was announced the venue will host the inaugural Holiday Face-Off college hockey tournament. The tournament will be held December 28-29.
Organizers plan to make this an annual event. This year the participating teams will include University of Wisconsin-Madison, Clarkson University, Arizona State University and University of Connecticut. Tickets will range from $10-$70.
The event is being put on by the sports marketing firm, Gazelle Group. Leaders at the Gazelle Group hope this will become one of the top men's college hockey tournaments in the nation.
“We think as we bring the highest and highly ranked teams in here every year, this tournament will be the tournament of choice for teams around the country," Gazelle Group President Rick Giles said.
Tickets go on sale Thursday, March 5.
