Fire at Kenosha Beer Gardens, popular neighborhood patio destroyed
President Trump is moving forward with plans to build a wall at the US Mexico border.
The plan targets cities that refuse to hand over undocumented people.
Worried about issues of discrimination in a Trump administration, more than 100 people showed their support for a resolution that opposes all discrimination in Milwaukee County.
It was introduced to by Supervisor Dimitrijevic and first heard in this morning's health and human needs committee.
The supervisor says she wrote the resolution to make sure everyone in Milwaukee County feels welcome and has equal rights.
The resolution highlights protected rights for documented and illegal immigrants, women, LBGTQ+, and those with religious backgrounds.
While the majority of those in attendance support the resolution, some say they don't think the resolution is the right thing to do.
