FBI Consulting on Homicide of UW-Stout Student

 Menomonie Police Department is consulting with the Federal Bureau of Investigations on the death of the UW-Stout student.

A UW-Stout student who was assaulted on Sunday morning passed away on Monday. The assault occurred in downtown Menomonie.

Hussain Saeed Alnahdi suffered several injuries.

Alnahdi was a junior majoring in business administration. He was from Saudi Arabia.

The Menomonie Police Department is treating this incident as a homicide.

Police have not been able to confirm if Alnahdi’s death was a hate crime, according to a news release.
