NEW BERLIN (CBS 58) – Students at Ronald Reagan Elementary School in New Berlin lined up to have their heads shaved.
Ten students and the school’s principal wanted to make sure third grader Ava didn’t feel left out and make sure the world is accepting of those who have illnesses that causes them to lose their hair.
“It’s part of our Ronald Reagan Gives Back campaign where we try to bring awareness to different issues to our students and September is National Alopecia Month,” says
The school has raised more than $1,000 for the National Alopecia Foundation and the Children’s Alopecia Project.
