Driver seriously injured after crashing into power lines

CUDAHY-- A driver was seriously injured after crashing into power lines overnight.
The accident happened around 1:30 a.m. Saturday near Whitnall and Layton in Cudahy.
The driver damaged a pole and took down some lines causing power outages
WE Energies had to shut of the rest of the power so that fist responders could safely remove the driver from his vehicle.
The driver was taken to Frodtert Hospital via flight for life.
We Energies said that about 2,900 customers lost power.
Crews made repairs to the pole.
All customers were expected to be restored power by 2:00 p.m.
