Driver in critical condition after crash on I-41/94 north near Pleasant Prairie

PLEASANT PRAIRIE, Wis. (CBS 58) -- Wednesday morning during the Winter Storm Warning Wisconsin State Patrol responded to a crash on I-41/94 north just before 9:30 a.m. The driver of a minivan was driving near Pleasant Prairie and lost control. The minivan started fishtailing when it was struck by a commercial vehicle.

The commercial vehicle hit the van's driver side and when State Troopers arrived the driver of the minivan was slumped over the steering wheel and trapped. 

The State Trooper broke out the passenger window to extricate the driver who remained in critical condition.

The crash happened on I-41/94 just south of State Highway 50 in Kenosha County.
