Driver dead after crashing into tree near 35th and Dakota

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Police say a 24-year-old man is dead after a crash Thursday night, Nov. 6.
It happened just after 11:30 p.m. near 35th and Dakota.
Officials say the man was driving south on 35th St. when he crashed into a tree.
The driver was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police say a 25-year-old passenger was taken to an area hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
An investigation is ongoing.
