Record breaking warmth possible to start the new work week
The weather was absolutely stunning over the weekend with highs well above average both Saturday and Sunday. Both days were nice and dry and fairly sunny as well. Saturday saw us get back into the 80s for the first time since September 12th and the high was only three degrees away from the record. Sunday was a touch cooler in the 70s with a lake breeze but still a gorgeous day.
Monday could be the warmest day with record breaking temps possible. A forecast high of 84 could break the current record high of 83 set back in 1995. After the potential record warmth on Monday we drop about ten degrees for Tuesday but still warm in the 70s. Another ten degree drop for Wednesday will bring us closer to average then some chilly air arrives for the end of the week.
With all of the warmth today and tomorrow we will see humidity return. Dew points both days will stay in the middle 60s making things feel kind of humid here and there. By Wednesday the humidity will drop back into the comfy category.
A few shower, or even storm, chances are also possible to start the week. The evening hours of both Monday and Tuesday could see a few areas of rain. The best chances Monday evening would be in our northern counties. If we see rain on Tuesday it could happen for everyone.
