Dollar Tree Employees Chase Down and Detain Robber Until Police Arrive

MILWAUKEE - Milwaukee police are investigating an armed robbery that happened around 10 a.m. this morning at the dollar tree at 76th and W. Capitol Drive.
A suspect approached an employee in the store, displayed a knife, and demanded money. The suspect grabbed the money and fled the store.
Store employees chased, caught, and detained the suspect a few blocks from the store.
The suspect, a 58-year-old Milwaukee man was arrested by Milwaukee Police. The case will be presented to the Milwaukee County District Attorney's office in the coming days.
