MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- All the baseball payers playing here have to sleep somewhere, and that's usually the Pfister Hotel downtown.

One Dodgers player, Mookie Betts, made headlines in 2023 for getting an Airbnb instead of staying at the Pfister, saying he heard a lot about how it's haunted. It's still a topic of conversation during this series.

Before Tuesday night's game, Teoscar Hernandez talked about what he's heard about strange experiences at the Pfister Hotel.

"My wife told me," Hernandez said. "The lights, some of the rooms, the lights goes off and on. And the doors, there are noises, footsteps, things like...I don't know. I'm not the guy that I'm going to be here saying, oh, yeah, I experienced that before, because I'm not. And I don't think I'm going to experience that."

The Pfister opened in 1893. It's been featured on local ghost tours and ranked as one of the most haunted hotels back in 2020 by the website Thrillist.

Several baseball players over the years have told stories about experiences at the Pfister.
