Dodge County Sheriff Identifies Milwaukee Hunter that was Found Dead

REESEVILLE, Wis. (AP) — Sheriff's officials in Dodge County have released the name of a Milwaukee man who was found dead at a hunting cabin.

The victim is identified as 46-year-old James Greevers Jr. The sheriff's office says his father, 69-year-old James Greevers Sr. of Milwaukee, who also was in the cabin, remains hospitalized.

Sheriff's deputies got a call from a family member Monday evening asking them to check on the two men who were staying at a cabin near Reeseville. The two were overdue to return home to Milwaukee from a weekend hunting trip and were unreachable by phone.

When deputies got to the cabin they found the younger Greevers dead and his father with life-threatening medical problems.

Carbon monoxide or other environmental causes are being investigated.
