Art for Arthritis gala to return in October at Saint Kate Hotel
GREENDALE, Wis. (CBS 58) -- The Greendale Community Theatre will present the Disney musical "Newsies" at the Henry Ross Auditorium beginning Thursday, July 24.
Performances run through July 26, and another set of shows runs July 31 through Aug. 2, with shows at 7 p.m. on Thursdays and Fridays and 4 p.m. on Saturdays.
Director Ami Majeskie and actor Christopher Welsh, who plays Jack Kelly, joined us Tuesday, July 22 to talk about what the cast brings to the production, their experience portraying well-known characters and what is special about working with Greendale Community Theatre.
Founded in 2003, the company is known for staging contemporary musicals such as "RENT," "Chicago" and "Les Misérables."
Donations collected after each show will support the Milwaukee Area Labor Council. Tickets are available by clicking here or at the door.
