BROOKFIELD, Wis. (CBS 58) -- Brookfield East High School's principal checks all the boxes. Andy Farley has been named "NASSP National Principal of The Year" for 2024.
It's been 30 years since Wisconsin has had a school leader rise to the top. This time, the National Association of Secondary School Principals (NASSP) has awarded Andy Farley, principal of Brookfield East High School, the 2024 "NASSP National Principal of The Year." East knows a lot about accolades. The school just received a Blue Ribbon award for closing of achievement gaps, one of three high schools in the country to receive this honor.
On CBS 58 Sunday Morning, Michael Schlesinger had the chance to speak to this academic leader to find out what sets him apart.
