Cruise Ship will Dock in Milwaukee Monday Morning
The Port of Milwaukee will welcome the Hamburg, a 472-foot cruise ship, on Monday morning. The 400 passenger cruise ship is currently touring the Great Lakes.
The ship is scheduled to travel under the Hoan Bridge between 6:00 AM and 7:00 AM and dock in the inner harbor (along the west side of Jones Island) at approximately 7:00 AM.
Ships carrying cargo make hundreds of stops at the port each year, but the docking of such a large cruise ship is an unusual event at the Port of Milwaukee.
The passengers on board the Hamburg are mostly European. They will have an opportunity to visit Wisconsin destinations such as the Harley Davidson Museum and Spring Green’s Taliesin while the ship is in port. Passengers also have access to shuttles back and forth to downtown Milwaukee
During its current North American cruise, the Hamburg is making stops at other Great Lakes ports.
