BROOKFIELD, Wis. (CBS 58) -- The Corners of Brookfield delivered 250 meals from BelAir Cantina to Ascension Memorial Elmbrook Wednesday afternoon, with a hundred more to be delivered Wednesday evening.
It's just one of many ways to make lives of health care workers a little less stressful and show appreciation for nurses and caregivers working on the front lines of the pandemic.
"If we can help people who are most in need at this point in time, through, you know, providing them with some fresh food, that takes a little bit of stress out of their lives, then that's the object of the exercise," said Corners of Brookfield CEO Robert Gould.
You can help out with the cause, too.
Order anything online at BelAir Cantina, FreshFin Poké or Goddess And The Baker. At checkout it will ask you for a donation.
The Corners will match all donations to continue these efforts for the foreseeable future.
