Coors Light wants you to turn your jeans into 'jorts' to celebrate the unofficial start to summer

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- The weather is getting warmer so what do you do with all those bulky jeans you wore during winter? Turn them into jean shorts -- aka "jorts" -- and Coors will help you out. 

Thursday through Sunday, May 19-22, 90 bars across the country will take part in the "Jort Your Jeans" event. 

All you have to do is show up in your jeans, and they'll change them into a nice pair of Daisy Dukes, or simple denim shorts. It can be cut to your design and length, and then decorated with bedazzling gems, Coors Light patches or painted with the Rocky Mountains. 

There's three locations in our area, two in Milwaukee and one in Hartland.
