Construction Played a Role in La Perla's Owners Decision to Sell

La Perla has been a Milwaukee staple for more than 20 years.

This weekend La Perla will be closing its doors for good.

Words like sad and heartbreaking have been used many times by La Perla customers but there have been just as many thank you for the business that has been in walker's point for 22 years.

The announcement to close was made less than 24 hours ago-and as you can imagine, it's been busy ever since.

The Mexican restaurant is known for its colorful, lively atmosphere, great food, margaritas and of course-the chili pepper you can ride.

It is a one-of-a-kind Milwaukee experience for those young and old.

The owners tell us construction did play a role in their decision to sell the business to new owners.

But they're also ready to try something new and the timing for all involved was perfect.
