Consistent rain chances will return to southeast Wisconsin Tuesday afternoon with rain chances almost every day for the next week. Tuesday's rain is approaching from the south where Illinois and Missouri are seeing beneficial rain. The start time for the rain in southeast Wisconsin has trended later with most staying dry for the morning and even most of the afternoon with showers arriving late afternoon into the evening.
Rain will be scattered for much of the evening with some steady rain possible Tuesday night. Scattered showers with a few thunderstorms are likely for Wednesday morning and afternoon before wrapping up in the evening. Thursday also has another chance for some showers.
By the end of the rain from Tuesday afternoon through Wednesday evening most of southeast Wisconsin will see a nice 0.25-0.75" of fresh rain.
The increased chances for rain will also come with a bit more humidity. For really the first time this year dew points will rise to around 60* for Wednesday and Thursday. Especially since it's the first time we're really seeing any humidity you will definitely start to fell it.
With more rain chances Thursday and Friday we could see some communities get over an inch of rain by the end of the work week. Download the CBS 58 Ready Weather app to track the consistent rain chances.
