5 teens charged after fire at former industrial building in Kenosha
Local seniors set to serve in the armed forces shocked when they were denied the right to wear military honor ropes at their graduation ceremony.
But hold on!
This is a story where a community came together for a quick resolution.
The local American Legion delivered the ropes to the group of seniors at Plymouth Comprehensive High School in Sheboygan County.
Shortly after they were handed out at the school, the students say they were told they could not wear them.
But within hours of opening a dialogue, the school will now allow the ropes to be worn.
Plymouth High Senior Brylan Weisensel tells CBS 58 News that the school told him they rejection was based on old rules.
But after a review and noting the overwhelming community support, they changed their minds.
