WAUWATOSA, Wis. (CBS 58) -- For the third year in a row, Children's Wisconsin is bringing Halloween fun to patients and families.
The hospital hosted an on-site costume shop Tuesday, where kids were able to choose from a wide range of costumes donated by Spirit of Children.
Friday, Oct. 31, Children's will hold their own trick-or-treat event in the lobby, so patients don't miss out on the Halloween fun.
Child Life Specialist Leslie Scott says this is a good way to help families relieve some stress that comes with the holiday.
"We have many families who are going through a lot of stress with ongoing medical care, and so this is one thing we can take off their plate and one less thing for them to worry about," Scott said.
Nearly 125 costumes were donated to Children's Wisconsin.
