WAUKESHA COUNTY, Wis. (CBS 58) -- Waukesha County chefs will create gourmet dishes using McDonald's menu items in a very upscale and unique way on Sunday, Feb. 22 for the fifth annual Unwrapped Waukesha fundraiser benefiting SHARP, a Milwaukee nonprofit educational program.
Lynda Welsh, president and CEO of SHARP, and Chef Joe Agathen from Kick Switch joined us Friday, Feb. 13, to discuss the event. The fundraiser showcases community collaboration as local restaurants compete to create upscale dishes from fast-food ingredients.
Proceeds support the thousands of students SHARP serves through its educational programs.
CBS 58's Amanda Porterfield will emcee the event.
