Celebrating Milwaukee Day With Turner Hall Concert, Fun Events

What started as a simple idea seven years ago is turning into a city-wide celebration: Milwaukee Day. 

It's celebrated on April 14th, or 4-14, in honor of Milwaukee's 414 area code. Over the last few years, the celebration has grown bigger and bigger.

Even Mayor Tom Barrett is on board, officially declaring April 14th "Milwaukee Day." 

On Thursday night, a concert at Turner Hall will feature local musical acts. Proceeds benefit Escuela Verde, a local public charter school.
