GLENDALE, Wis. (CBS 58) -- Vibez Creative Space opened at Bayshore Mall three years ago, with the goal of providing a space to all for art and expression. 

"One of our things is making sure art is accessible and affordable," said Chrishella Roche. "Writing, poetry, painting, drawing, dance, drumming, we love it all."

This weekend, you can celebrate Black History Month with Vibez. It will be a day of culture, history and art with local Black authors, artists and interactive games, puzzles, and food for the community to enjoy.

The event is free and open to all ages. Hear Dionne Grayson read her story -- "Malik has a Gift". And for $10, you can take a paint class with Setirha Stone. Stone is a freelance artist who created an original artwork for the event.

"I was just sketching in my notebook all day and I was like, what can I create for this month? It's a lot of things going on in the world, and the word 'freedom' really stuck to me," said Setirha Stone. 

The two portraits will showcase the word "freedom" right in the middle, across the eyes and hair. 

The event starts at 11:30 a.m. at Vibez.
