MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Cedric The Entertainer was in town on Saturday, ahead of the debut of his new CBS show.
He performed at the Riverside Theater, a place he says feels like home.
"Milwaukee feels like home for me. I'm a Midwest dude, it feels like home. There's a vibe here that feels like I'm in a comfort place coming here each year to meet great people like yourself -- there's a kindness, there's a warmness," said Cedric The Entertainer.
The show was called 'Laughing for the Soul.'
It benefits Milwaukee Health Services which is celebrating 30 years of providing medical care and assistance in Milwaukee.
The season two premiere of 'The Neighborhood' airs Monday night at 7 p.m. on CBS 58.
