MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- CBS 58 and Steinhafels has joined forces with The Salvation Army to help give children in need the gift of joy this holiday season.
The Salvation Army Milwaukee County Toy Shop provides parents the opportunity to “shop” for new toys that have been donated and collected in the community. Parents will make selections based on the age and gender of their children, and surprise them on Christmas morning with toys.
CBS 58 viewers can drop off toys at any Milwaukee-area Steinhafels location through December 22, or take part in the Day of Giving, Tuesday, Dec. 3, at any Steinhafels location or donate online at Salvation Army.
The Salvation Army accepts new toys and books only. The age groups for toys are 0-2 years, 3-7 years, 8-12 years and 13-15 years. The biggest area of need is for both boys and girls ages 8-15 years old. For more info on the Toy Shop, click here.
