WAUKESHA, Wis. (CBS 58) -- Catholic Memorial High School in Waukesha is now one of only two private high schools to have an advanced 3D anatomy visualization tool -- an anatomage table.
The school received it the state-of-the-art technology thanks to a $125,000 donation from longtime supporters Steve and Shelagh Roell. It's a huge boost for the school's biomedical science and biology programs.
"This table isn't seen very often in a high school situation so these students are going to be able to get on and look at a cadaver that maybe they're not going to see until second, third year in a medical school" said Sandy Rice, biomedical science teacher.
Catholic Memorial High School President Donna Bembenek says the addition of the table gives the school's students a distinct advantage as they enter college.
