MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- A local catering company is lending a hand to those working on the frontlines of the coronavirus pandemic.
MKE Localicious delivered jars of food directly to nurses at Froedtert Hospital.
The owner of the catering company says the nurses can reheat the food in the jars, which would kill any trace of the coronavirus.
She also says she wanted to help the medical staff as they look to help those battling the virus.
"I really believe that it's the self-care that we're providing for those nurses so that they're healthy and can do what's so important to this community," said Kathy Pinineau, owner of MKE Localicious.
MKE Localicious is deliver food to the nurses every Wednesday until the pandemic subsides. If you'd like to help donate, CLICK HERE for more information.
