WAUKESHA, Wis. (CBS 58) -- As the summer draws to a close, parents and kids alike know school is right around the corner.
Before the start of the official school year, Carroll University's first-year students have all moved in.
Carroll freshmen rely on their university's football team to help out with the move in.
This makes the experience much easier for incoming students and their parents - turning a challenging process to a quick and easy process that builds community and school pride.
"I think it sets the tone for who we are as an institution certainly, this is a different type of day," said Carroll University President Cindy Gnadinger. "We don't do this every day, but you will feel that welcoming Carroll Pioneer spirit throughout the whole year."
Carroll University will welcome its largest incoming class in school history - more than 800 students.
Among them are students from 24 states and international students from 18 different countries.
