OAK CREEK, Wis. (CBS 58) -- Buona Beef and The Original Rainbow Cone are now open in Milwaukee County. Both businesses are Chicago-staples that joined forces more than five years ago now. And thanks to the first franchisee owner in Wisconsin, it's making its way to the Milwaukee market. 

The Oak Creek location opened Aug. 11 with a line out the door according to Joe Marchionna, the franchise partner.

He says the next Milwaukee-area location will open by 2027. 

"We're going to open a second location on Miller Parkway near the stadium, that should be opening early next year," said Marchionna.

Rainbow cone is known for its five-layer ice cream cones, and Buona beef is known for its Italian beef sandwich.

The Oak Creek store is open daily at 10:30 a.m.
