Brown Deer woman arrested for child neglect after two children left in car at Walmart

BROWN DEER, Wis. (CBS 58) -- On Labor Day, Brown Deer Police were called to the Walmart around 3:45 p.m. for a report of two young kids left in a car. 

The car was left running and a 4-year-old child got out and started wandering around the parking lot where he was almost hit by another car. There was also a 1-year-old in the car.

Before police could arrive the mother of the children left in the car. 

Police tracked down the 36-year-old woman and arrested her for child neglect.
