Brookfield Portillo's celebrating 500 days of business

BROOKFIELD, Wis. (CBS 58) -- Wednesday only customers at Portillo's in Brookfield will get $1 offers on a Portillo's classic.

The deal is in celebration of 500 days of business for the Brookfield location.

Guests can get a slice of chocolate cake for $1 with the purchase of any sandwich or hot dog, entree salad, entree pasta or ribs.

At 5 p.m. Wednesday the Portillo's team and Brookfield's mayor will donate $5,000 to the Elmbrook Education Foundation which provides scholarships and grants to students, faculty, and projects within the Elmbrook School District.

The $1 Chocolate Cake promotion will be available from 10:30 a.m. until 10:30 p.m.
