Brewers shutout Devil Rays, just a half game back of Cubs

Orlando Arcia was the key to the Milwaukee Brewers' success in their 2-0 victory over the Tampa Bay Devil Rays. With the win, the Brewers are now just one-half game back of the Chicago Cubs for the lead in the National League Central.

Arcia flashed on both offense and defense. He had three hits, including a triple and a home run and was responsible for both Brewers' runs. Arcia also gunned down Corey Dickerson at home plate to keep the Brewers up 1-0 in the seventh inning.

Brewers' starter Brandon Woodruff was just activated from Triple-A Colorado Springs and headed straight to the mound Friday. He allowed seven hits but struck out six Devil Rays.

The Brewers are now 58-53, keeping distance with the Cubs (57-51) who lost Friday.
