Brewers blast Haren, sweep Dodgers

LOS ANGELES - Jonathan Lucroy's bat and Wily Peralta's arm have been among the National League's best. And Sunday was no different for either one.

Lucroy drove in five runs in the first two innings, and Peralta picked up his 15th win to tie for the major league lead, as the Brewers beat the Dodgers 7-2 Sunday at Dodger Stadium.

Lucroy blasted a two-run homer off Dodgers starter Dan Haren in the first inning, then added a three-run double off Haren in the second. Carlos Gomez also homered for the Brewers, who became the first team this season to sweep the Dodgers in a series of longer than two games.

The Brewers also joined Los Angeles as the only National League teams with 70 wins. The Brewers maintain a three game lead on the second place Cardinals going into a homestand that starts Tuesday against the Blue Jays.
