Beaver Dam man sentenced to five years in prison for multiple felony thefts

BEAVER DAM, Wis. (CBS 58) -- A 29-year-old Beaver Dam man has been sentenced to five years in prison and eight years supervision for his role in three felony thefts after incidents at gas stations in Beaver Dam.

Corey Landsee demanded money from three gas station employees in a period of five days around New Year’s Day 2017.

Landsee entered the BP gas station on Madison Street in the Town of Beaver Dam on December 31, 2016 and January 3, 2017 and each time demanded the clerk give him the money in the till.  On January 4, 2017, Landsee entered the Coyote Gas and Liquor Store on Spring Street in the City of Beaver Dam and again demanded the clerk give him the money from the register. 

Landsee used the stolen money to purchase heroin and cocaine.
